Thread: still having problems

ok so i changed fuel filter didnt change anything but it needed to be done badly. did compression test and it wwas 140 psi every cylinder

Ive seen cheap knock sensors on ebay for around 20-25$. The temp, o2#1 and knock sensors are the ones you really dont want to sit on as they affect the cars performance.

When its cold it runs fine when it gets warmed up it runs like shit

Could you do me a favor since I'm kinda local to you and summarize what you have already checked and or replaced since trying to sort this out? I'm getting a lil lost reading thru the whole thread as to what has and has not been done

Happynole I know he mentioned a knock sensor, if you have one around you should shoot him a decent offer, if I had one id send it but I just got back in the game so my spare parts are little to none, I just did my knock sensor.

Before he starts adjusting things he needs to get rid of that cel as it will counter adjust and the ecu will be confused.

might not be the sensor though, might be the wiring

Don't have a knock sensor sitting around, just trying to help diagnose the problem

Pardon happy didnt mean to put you out there, I posted a cheap one at ebay for him to check. It could be the pin may be missing from the pigtail and its loose but usually the knock sensor just fractures and it can't read correctly.
