Well, that depends on your short term and long term goals. A simple safc may be fine for now, however at least a basic chipped ecu (non realtime) should be bought in the near future. As for fuel pressure, you can get a fuel pressure regulator and a fuel pressure gauge. Neither of these steps should be taken unless a air fuel gauge is available or you take it to a tuner with a dyno.

I cannot honestly say this will fix it, but you are running mad lean.

just a guess but it sounds like its leaning out hard core. needs more fuel...

It might be a bad TPS or MAF(also check the ground) something fuel related...

did you get the base idle set after you got the timing to 19deg from 32deg lol

things im goin to do... fuel filter, maf, reground maf, distributor, plug wires, tps, any more ideas ???

i cant get it to idle where i want it nothing seems to work on this thing !!!

You really should correct the knock sensor or you will never get the timing right. Also check yyour fuel pressure like stated, your pump can be going bad, I had a pump half step on me, the symptoms were that as a bad maf.
