Since you fixed your mechanical timing, has it improved any? It may be a culmination of things going on. Is there a check engine light? Have you hooked up a consult cable and laptop? Did you properly reground your engine and maf? Did you check the tps with an analog multimeter? I know many people claim their flukes are hot shit, I did to until my dads analog showed it up. Did you check the tps properly?

Its your knock sensor readjusting your timing, I had mine backfireing out the intake. Trust me you'll feel the difference.
