Thread: no bottom end

I just swapped an sr in my 4 door and i feel like it is really lacking bottom end power. Mods are jwt cams, header, 2.5 inch exhaust, intake, 15 .degree timing, underdrive wp pulley. Any opinions would be nice. Thanks.

Which cams and what ecu are you using?

Your crazy,That motor was running strong.
You must have something wrong,Pat....Did you mess with the timing or something.It should have been drop in and go.Ran perfectly driven everyday.
A slipping clutch will rob bottom end,to you know.

Timing is the same. Just doesnt seem tonpull like my ga did on the bottom end. Top end it is much quicker

ga had bottom end? last i check ga had no end!

haha ,I guess you should just put that badass ga back in there,since it outperforms the DE....ROFL.

Come drive my GA if you want to refresh your memory of what a GA is like.

Your 1.6 ran good for a GA,but come on man.And SR on 3 cyls still has more bottom end.
Come get a good clutch so you can get after it down low before you condemn it.

Well my girl said the same thing too. Mynbuddy is putting it on the dyno this week so we can compare the graphs. And yea i need the clutch. I had to replace the alternator 2 days ago so money is tight

a ga has no end and the sr pulls from top to bottom and with those cams its even better up top
