Thanks fella's. Will post some more pics as i make progress. Got to get the beast cleaned up under the hood. East coast winter mode here. Cans and cans of Krown undercoating with dirt stuck to it.
Don't mind the valve cover, it looks like ass lol. I might just buy a new one. Maybe a VE one (without the VVL label) so i can get one with color on it. I suck at painting lol
Need to source a new Z32 or Q45 maf for cheap also. Old one went out last fall. I have the DE maf back on temporarily for now.
After the header project is done and some tunning. I will be trying a 70mm throttle body on the stock low port manifold. Going to have the flange welded on
I was also thinking about welding on the exessive 45deg elbow for more plenumn volume to the low port man and just using the q45 TB. Might do jack shit, as opossed to a nice full on custom intake manifold but you gotta try to succeed or you will never know the outcome!
Update: header is done and on. It's just open header for now. I just got to weld the exhaust back on at work.
It sounds sick just idling lol. Took it for a drive. Surprised on how good it drives just open header. I've drivin other cars with open headers and its just gutless. Stay tuned for a virtual dyno once the exhaust is welded back on.
