New side project, update with virtual dyno
This is my new project on the side for over winter. I will be modifying this B series PLM v.2 (4 to 1) header with a sr20 flange. Any thoughts or opinions????

Already tested here!!!! By Mercado and he went back to Tri-y!!
If you have the budget for that header get the Big Tube Tri- Y
Or the small tube and buy the plm 4-1 merge collector with megaphone and reverse cone

Thanks Payu. I had only considered it because i didnt think anyone else tested it. I thought only the small tube tri-y's were tested. any big tubes tested?

If the above header was picked, could anything be changed to help? Primarys too short/long?

A would try to make a 2.25in choke since the choke looks kind of big and then a nice transition to 3in I think primaries are ok dont know exact specs but something between 22-23 in should be ok
O a race header with something like this: https://www.privatelabelmfg.com/product_p/h-ks-41mme.htm
They also sell that header!!
I would like to try something like this!!
https://www.privatelabelmfg.com/product_p/plm-h2b-header.htm
On B series the Toda header makes good power and its a design similar to this one!!

Im going to try and get the primarys as close to 25" in length. It is a stepped header. I know it should be close to 12" for each length of pipe (step). Im going to try and make it the best I can. End result might be more like, 6" for the first step and 18" for the last step.

I can't remember the size after the collector, maybe 2.37" or 2.65" in diameter. I'm definatly going to try and get the choke down to 2.25"

Now getting a megaphone with reverse cone on there will be very hard or impossible because it will need a bend in it, because of where it would be.

I will keep you guys updated on the progress i make with it and the end results.

I also picked this header because it seems like the tri y's hang damn low, and with this header i get the big tubes (primarys).

I think the diameter of the steps should be good. It starts at 1.7" and goes to 1.8" then to collector.

Ok when idid mine we only did was changed the flange tube 3 and 4 match almost perfect just a little porting at the end in side the flange. .but tube 1 and 2 we gave it some heat so we could move them more to match the flange and the choke on mine was 2.5 so it was to big ..try to make it 2.25 and that part were the choke is you have to turn it because its going to bump with the small oil crank

My header did give me more hp over the triy like 4-6more but I lost a few on the midrange but it cuold be because of the big choke it had..good luck
