SR20 VC baffles
Has anyone ever cut open a sr20 vc to have a look at the oil seperation baffles inside? If so please post a link.

I think it would be interesting to see, especially on the RR and VE valve covers.

i have one cut open at the house or a RR valve cover. i have snap a pic tonight.

i had to drill out the rivets of my DE VC when it was powedercoated.

there is not much to them ...i cant get on photobucket at work, so i cannot post a pic

DE's (non RR) had catch cans though

Other way round, RR and VE have "catch cans" inside the rocker cover. Highport (non RR) have it outside the engine (the black box front right of the engine)

misunderstanding... i associate catch can with the black box outside the engine.

so I was saying since the DE has a catch can there would not be alot of baffles in the the DE VC

Infiniti RR Valve cover


I originally wanted to use this on my VE, but noticed the depth of the plate is higher on the VE, i think the casting is the same but the VE is machined more to alloy for more room.

cool pic all those informative posts made by benfenner on breather setup makes perfect sense
