Not sure about stock sr16ve springs stiffnes as they are not that stiff as stock sr20ve springs.

Rowdy: What kind of springs? I want to build RR DE with these Catcams but springs are little harder to choose...

I use normal DE Ferrea springs and retainers. Normal DE springs are 3mm longer than RR but i didn't encounter any problems. At the time of fitting i didnt really notice much difference.

Cat Cam do uprated valve springs. iirc they use they use the same part number for normal DE and RR.

Whats crazy? Its normal. Roller Rocker is good engine, good torque and powerband for daily driving. No need to rev high if engine doesnt make power/torque there.

EUDM RR DE - 130 HP with 6500 rpm rev limiter (less agressive cams and ECU)
EUDM RR DE - 150 HP with ~7000 rpm rev limtier (more agressive cams and ECU)

Roller Rocker DE´s are great and Rowdy knows it very well!

how many hp did the rr deliver when stock??
my rr head had some letters on it and it writes uk..

what i know for sure is that this engine comes from a retired police primera gt.
it supposed that mr. theocharakis who had the old nissan factory in greece, gave it a "touch" because it was going for police purpoces and the hp was around 170.

futhrer on, i have no idea about n/a sr's. i didn't even knew that there was a de head with roller rockers....

ok about the car, i'm changing rod bearings right now with new genuine to keep my mind clear for a long time.
my RR is running with a
haltech e6k stand alone ecu,
custom harness,
two core bosch coil pack,
nissan cam trigger system,
ngk 7mm silicone plug wires,
ngk bkr8eix iridium spark plugs,
and the list will keep going on with more stuff i already got.

something about the exhaust header, is that it's unknown made but it's good for now.
from the cat and back i already have a 2 1/2" exhaust system with a twister d.100mm mufler.

will go on now. see you later.
in the mean time any suggestions and advices are welcomed guys.

I myself have 268,xxx on my roller rocker and stills pulls hard.

You can determinate by head stamps...

There were 115HP, 130HP, 140HP, 150HP... basically just diffent cams, ecu... because of emissions and lower insurance.

the head writes 2F2 3R UK. the exhaust writes UK too.

But.. some bad news with the 2nd rod.. the bearings was pretty damaged only on the 2nd rod so does the crank shaft..
this is what happens when you lent engines to best friends.
so the engine goes down again and i'll wait for another one to arrive tomorrow.

i also had an offer today to sell the whole car and i'm thinking of it since i'm now a 35y old father with 3 babies...
we'll see...
