That is pretty bad. Whatever you do, avoid an engine flush unless you plan on immediately dropping the pans and cleaning up the oil pickup. My DE on the G20 was close to that, I changed the oil every month for 6months with 10w40, ran the car hard pretty frequently and the motor cleaned up alot, when I dropped the oil pickup i was clear, did not have to clean it up.

Looks like someone hasn't changed their oil for a few years :/ As mentioned before there are detergents in oil, more in the "high mileage" ones. There is always seafoam too.

I would be worried about accelerated engine wear especially the bearings, keep an ear out for knock if after a flush.
