Thread: P Trouble Code Help!!

I'm Getting a P1400 Code on my B14 CEL. I know this is the EGR Valve and Evap Canister Purge Control Solenoid Valve. But What in the world do i change to fix? I have never got this code b4 and the autoparts is looking at me stupid....

according to this, its not for evap, its just for the egr control solenoid.
test the solenoid to see if it works. look for wire damage. u may end up changing the egr solenoid.
