Thread: G20 ecu

Can I run an auto g20 ecu on a 5speed ser? Ecu is out of a 2000 g20 but my sentra is a 1998.

i jus put one in my car. the g20 ecu was from a automatic 94. it runs good, gets so much better MPGs, but i got a MIL for the auto trans curcuit not being complete. it will stay off at first but as soon as u turn the car bak on the MIL will come on.

i wonder if it makes a big difference if the ecu is auto or manual?

I'm about to just buy it and see. It's at A junk yard so I hope it's cheap

Ur rev limit will be 6200 rpm and it will be sluggish on a/t! Ecu accounts for T/Q converter so it trims alot of estra ooph out

i straight up stole mine from junk yard, slapped it in my pocket and walked out and i was like "i have no MF clue whats goin on here"

no i revved to 7.3k and it didn't cut off with my automatic ECU. i was like

2000G20 is RR motor. You need 94-96 G20 ECU. Auto will work fine but throw a cel.
