Yeah,maybe that dbl resonator and a longer muffler is the ticket.
I do like the way the vibrant sounds though...better than the magnaflows

I was thinking of going with a modified 3" SSAC secondary to a 3" catalytic converter and out to a Y pipe 3" electronic exhaust cutout that redirects flow to a stock catback exhaust (stock 98 SE-R muffler) when the cutout is closed.

Should be really quiet when putting around town and also have the flow I need for the nitrous whenever needed. Anyone on here try something like this?

^^^we did on a friends car changed the cars personality, it rumbles below 3k rpms like someone with duct tape over there mouth, its on a sr20ve motor, by the time you get to 5k duct tape is off then lift and the car screams RRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAPPPPPPPPEEEEEEE!!!!! just as loud as my vibrant but after awhile you get a rattle from the butterfly

A lot of people don't like my exhaust, but I run a pacesetter Monza cat back 2.5". At low rpm it is very quiet with just a hint of deep tone to it, but then screams over 5500rpm. I love it.
