I've thought about doing this when I go VE:

How to Build a Stainless Exhaust with Vibrant Performance

Perhaps copying that set-up, except keeping the system all 2.5" in/out.

That actually looks really good. I wonder how the ground clearence would be with those resonators in place.

No. I have a 5x8x14 on my B14. I bought the 5x8x18 12246 as a replacement.

Shawn, there is a resonator longer than will make your system even quieter (I have a 22" Magnaflow 4" body resonator on my car now and it recently just developed a crack just after the body ends so it needs replaced. Basically Round Three.) but I really think the two Vibrant Ultra Quiet Resonators used in line are the best. Circa what Moto IQ did, only replacing the muffler with the Magnaflow 12246.

This, is my Magnaflow 12246 painted with high temp grille paint because it is so flat black and that is what I wanted.

If you do not have a resonator, that is one problem right there.

I have:

SSAC header > 2.5" in/out cat> Magnaflow 18" resonator > Vibrant Stealth 2.5" Flat Black

It is quiet and very civil below about 4K, I love that it virtually disappears below the car. However, it is just a bit louder than I would prefer when I get on it, or when cruising along above 4K'ish. Not bad by any means, but I am an old fart and am not interested in any undo attention when planting my right foot.

hey how are you liking the vibrant muffler i have a 3in straight pipe into a forza pan and its loud as hell was thinking of doing the vibrant 3in pan and resonator??

I plan to do the double vibrant resonator with the same muffler as before on my next VE/3" setup(like moto IQ did)

I am like ShawnB in that I would like it even quieter if possible
The guy at my exhaust shop said he could add another small bullet resonator also in the short straight section before the axle if I wanted

Larger muffler eggman, such as the one pictured in my last reply! Longer than your Vibrant Stealth.
