Thread: SR20VE springs in SR20DE Head

Can this be done? would it help, i have been told that it can be a cheap upgrade for street camed DEs but i dont know if this would really help.

Any thoughts?

BTW aftermarket springs are realy expensive here.

VE's use a dual spring setup, which requires different retainers and I'm pretty sure also requires a different seat in the head.

and the valves are smaller stem so you wouldn't be able to use the ve retainer either.
