Wow, did you all forget about the car guys!? Lmao! I think you need to use the CVT tranny. I am personally interested and it is something new to discover on our cars unless someone isn't chiming in. Could be an amazing drag racing trans that I could use in the future. I say go for it. I guess the question is are the axles going to be the same and a couple of sensors possibly needing changed or rewired?

I think for what you're getting that's not a completely horrible price, however I don't think trying to make an auto VVL is worth it...If that's what she's after, find her an auto SE-L or G20 and then look for a VVL motor separate to swap it into. Though CVT is a newer concept that I haven't seen tried, I'm not even sure it's possible...but anything is with the right amount of $$$.

Swagz can tell you by witness that my car is extremely louder than most now a days, way back when the swap was done, I used a Magnaflow muffler and resonator, I since then have grown to love the sound of the cams switching over and deleted the resonator and went with a Apexi WS2 muffler. The car is OBNOXIOUSLY loud! I've got all the external bolt ons I could find and have never touched internals besides the cams.
