Knocking sound coming from Tranny or axles.

specs p10 ve 5spd lsd

Noise coming from either tranny itself or passenger side axle.

Thumping/nocking sound arises when in gear and gas pedal is depressed. For example I leave it in 2nd gear, go up to 6k rpm release the gas pedal that is when horror sounds begins.

Car drives great. Tranny is smooth. The sounds are horrible!!

Any Ideas?

Could be lots of things, axle bracket is loose on the block, rear motor mount if its bad, axle, wheel bearing, lower control arm bushing. Check all that stuff to start

the inner joint of the axle could be seized. had that make that noise before.

Just reads a shit load of Honda-Tech and Nico and obviously has a shit load of time on his hands to remove an entire engine, tear it all down and replace a single barely worn engine bearing, and waste $400 on gaskets and bearings not to mention a weeks worth of his time. Real winner here.

I had the same wird noise on mt B15 when everything seemed fine. turned out to be the axle. Id start there...
