GTI-R intake
Hey!

I am currently trying to use a sr20-intake on a motor from mazda. My car is rwd so the engine is not pointing to the side as it does on the Sunny.

My point is, the intake is pointing towards the firewall. I must create an adaptor plate to make this intake work on my engine anyway, but my question is wether the intake can sit "upside down"? This way it'll point the right way. Forward.

If it sits upside down the injectors will spray more upwards than they originally would. Anyone who thinks this will make any problems? :o

I hope you guys understand my english, ain't that easy to explain all the time :/

Thanks!

If you are going through all the trouble to do this then why not use a RWD SR20 intake? There are RWD SR20s. If you are doing it for the individual throttle bodies then you can cut the throttle body flange off, and fit it to the other end for the correct orientation. Any way you go about this you will have some serious fabrication to do, but anything is possible.
