Just degree'd my jwt C2s
Yesterday I degree'd my jwt C2 cams. Below is a link the picture of the valve events. All readings were taken at the the valve spring retainer. Also I have some jun adjustable cam gears set at -4 int/ +4 exh. If i'm reading my results right i'm getting 204* duration at 0.050" on intake cam and 196* duration at 0.050" on exhaust cam. Now I should mention my engine hasn't ran since sept 2010, but I poured fresh oil in cylinders and cam lobes. Anyone have any advice on what the cams should be set at? With this setup, I get the best idle and no hesistation from 1000-3000rpm. However it does lose a lot of midrange torque compared to 0/0, but it makes the most top end power. I should mention that I don't have a header, just the oem manifold with an open down pipe.
