stratton.

I think he means the track in the video posted by se-racer

PBIR(Palm Beach International Raceway) used to be called Moroso Park if I am not mistaken.

We took the Dog 1's engine apart and can't find the root cause for low oil pressure. However the engine doesn't look that badly damaged.

when you say that do you mean it still needs shorter gears or with the small diameter tires you need longer gears now? i am assuming it is the first

Yes, They turned a great learner track into a very boring track.

So do 15''s have worse tire wear than the 17"s, with the same hypothetical tires just sized accordingly and same alignment?

I have been under the impression that the 15''s would wear better.

17" tires (typically being taller), have more rubber. They cover more distance for the same rotation. They get effectively less miles on them per lap which results in less wear. They also have more (thermal) mass which can be good or bad for wear life, but usually good.

Yeah I understand the benefits of taller tires. What I was trying to get at is if the wear from camber on the inner edge of the tire changes based on wheel size? Even if there is say little or 0 toe?

I have heard a few accounts of the inner edges of the tires wearing more with larger wheels but never any good explanation. Maybe less give in the larger wheel's tires could do this?

The 17s wear much better. They just bog the car down.
