Welcome back Mike, good luck with everything.

My 2c VVL all the way. The cars, tracks, drivers and setup are all different. Lower the VVL get on the gas a little sooner to make up for the little torque that's not there and problem solved.

When we put the small diameter tires on the VE car it got a lot faster but Dai say it still needs more gear and he felt the DE was faster on corner exit. Dai turned a 1:32.6 at big willow with the dog II which was the fastest race lap and 3 seconds faster than any FF SR20 powered car there.

We took the Dog 1's engine apart and can't find the root cause for low oil pressure. However the engine doesn't look that badly damaged.

Its a stock ve oil pump. You,know this already, just runs higher pressure.
