Dog car 1 suddenly lost oil pressure and got hurt unloading it from the trailer to dyno. Not sure why yet but the damage is surprisingly bad.

I am very curious to see what has occurred.

Oil pump or dented oil pan from trailer extraction maybe??

I think the oil pressure relief valve jammed. Now Dai is switching to the Dog II and my season is basicaly done as this weekends race is a double header.

If anyone wants to go to willow springs to watch it should be good.

1:32's around big Willow, the Dog 2 flies with 15" wheels. It has more left in it too.

Hey Mike, so whats the plan if the motor is too hurt for an easy repair. As im sure if it spun a bearing you would probably opt to have a new crank put in or the one reground.

Maybe VE like the Dog2? Seems like it would be the cheaper and more logical route. Didnt know if you want to keep the variety in the cars having one a DE and the other a VE or if its gonna be more about what performs the best for the least cost.

But as Mike says, the car performs better with the DE than with the VE...
