SR16VE N1 Water pump in SR20DE

Hello guys, i was looking at this link

Nismo N1 Water Pump for SR20DE Motor - 21010-1N526 - Nismo

and ther it says that the SR16VE N1 Water Pump can be used in any SR20DE/DET engine, have someone done this? what would be the diference? Combined with the Gspec WP Pulley and Crank Pulley would i have any problems?

Is to be instaled in a SR20DE Lowport 1996...

Does a SR20DE can rev to 10 000 RPMS... yes then it will not rev any more... Broken...

There is no difference as far as I know but if there is, you can sure bet someone will tell you.

They are different. The blades are different. The pump will physically fit bit idk if you would want to use it. I believe it will flow less and also likely cavitate at a higher rpm then the STD pump.

cory the N1 pump uses a larger pulley, isn't that the reason why it flows less, or is it a combination of both blade design and pulley?

I remember seeing that the sr16 and sr20 were different... I could only assume the 1.6 would both flow less and cavitate higher. Asfar as differences between n1 and std sr16 I'm not sure. It probably is just the pulley.

N1 on the left, SR16 on the right.

N1 blades close up

SR16 blades close up

Blades look the same to me, so I guess the difference is the pulley.
I don't have the 20VE pump to compare though.

from what i heard, the ve, and rr are the same, maybe if you have an older sr20de you could use a ve water pump but if you have a rr it is a waste of money, you would be better off investing on a lighter bigger pulley for it.

Lighter reduces rotating mass.

Bigger decrease likelihood of cavitation at higher RPM.
