Now that I'm thinking about it, I did this
last year!! Surprisingly, the car turned over and idled quite well, even with an E60 MAF and lightly free-revving the engine!? Although, I didn't drive the car like that or even put it into gear so the E60 MAF might have been a problem had I driven under load.

Heck I think I can make something cheaper with a thick aluminum chunk. The added benefit is it moves TB further away thus you don't have to worry about touching the VC, but throttle bracket will need to be redone.

I wonder how inexpensive the machinist can make them for, with a simple block-style design. He has the program saved on the CNC, so it might be easy for him to adjust.
Here is what I did (I didn't make it though) for my throttle bracket. Pretty simple piece, atleast for a VE manifold anyways.

Thanks, Vadim! Yes, not to confuse people into thinking I was running a VE plenum on my RR with a RR TB and ECU. That's too much work for stock redline!!
