it was on the old forum, not sure who did it but you would need to run everything off a lowport non rr car.

Would a lowport intake manifold be a upgrade on a highport?

You would need the manny coolant gallery and throttle to swap it over as I did it on my Roller. About gains I wouldn't be able to tell you because I swapped all that over before I dropped it in the b14 and then turboed it. But it does look better than that restrictive poc. The Roller manny has tighter runners.

Lowport intake manifold won't fit on a highport head, son. Ain't gonna happen.

i was considering using a lowport on my RR but i saw that the throttlebody opening was bigger on the RR, so i have my RR manifold ported out and my throttle body oppening bored to the edge of the gasket. they both have their good points, but the RR many is said to be better than the lowport and the VE one being more superior.

Finally did tests on this, Low Port mani made 10whp more then RR one on a stock tune, and 20whp more tuned vs RR manifold. Actual testing can be found here.

IIRC Charles said.that the JDM Lowport intake mani is the best one out of the bunch. I have one sitting here but don't have the time to install it at the moment.

If I can get my hands on one I would be willing to try it...
