RR intake mani vs lowport intake mani
I thought I read somewhere that the RR intake manifold on a DE is upgrade? Or is it the other way around Can anybody confirm this....

Hell do they even bolt up?

Thank you

Lowport on a rr is an upgrade not the other way around.

Why do you think that?

i've seen a few RR gain 15hp just off a intake manifold swap.

The lowport mani looks bigger.

RR one is tiny. Plus it looks to have more jagged corners.

What kind of RR? Other mods?

I have RR right now in my daily and also have spare Lowport intake mani laying around....

Basically the DE valve cover, intake manifold, water lines, and distributor on a RR motor and you have a hell of a DE.
I can vouch for this, my first DE threw a rod and I bought what I thought was a “JDM” motor, that in reality was a RR motor. Maybe not 15hp but it would totally spank any bolt on DE. (without aftermarket cams)
