Hello guys, a friend of mine is selling me a SR20VE intake manifold with the 333cc inyectors, i think i can use it to get it ported, but i dont know if it would help instead of the stock SR20DE Lowport manifold that i have. Any ideas?
BTW both manifolds stock, what would be better? i would like to port the TB to 64mm and get the manifold polished as far as it is posible, because the manifold is uninstaled so i would be easy as i wouldnt have to stop using my car...
I don't think the SR20VE manifold will even bolt up to a lowport (or highport) DE head. If it does, the port walls would be so ridiculously far off it would be pointless. Have you seen the DE ports versus the VE ports?

Roller rocker intake and low port intake can be swapped but not ve' s bolt pattern is off and like Ben said the ports are huge ! Tried on a friends rr motor and the intake wouldn't mate up so we swapped on a low port intake on .

Now would de SR20VE TB fits into de SR20DE Lowport manifold, this is because i would like to get a 64mm TB but as i said i dont want to be without my car...

Yes those are interchangeable . Low port and ve will work just not roler rockers tb's . Not sure how well the runners match up but you could have someone cut the base off the lowport and weld it on the ve manifold but still not worth it when you could buy a custom manifold the will flow better but most likely for boost or high HP motors . I believe a n1 tb will also fit a lowport manifold also . Basicly are you running a big boost set up or allmotor set up with big cams ect ect ?
