I like this build it looks similar to the one I am doing just a little less aggressive.

My DE prior to it getting stolen was at 167whp, that was with S4s greddy exhaust pulleys(and all other boltons -a my fidanza) , with those sr16 piston I don't see why you won't be over 170.

NissanGuy what compression where you running when you made 167whp?

Thats the question, i think 12:1 as Viprdude is to high, so he need another opinion so he can get this clear an chose what pistons to use...

He said he can get 91 octane fuel, what is wrong with 12.0:1 ?

but are the S4HL so agressive that would need 12:1? wouldnt the car loose some high end fot that agressive CR?

Besides increasing displacement, upping the compression ratio is the next best way to gain power.

The problem with increasing compression ratio with larger cams is the clearances between the top of the piston and the bottom of the valve close up. Too close and they will tap each other.

As long as the S$HL cams would clear and not hit the pistons, the higher the compression ratio, the better. (Staying all N/A)

I was thinking that 12:1 would only work with 272 or 275 cams, that are way more agressive than S4HLs...

Thats why im asking... in fact i think i would be getting 11:8.1 with the SR16VE pistons...
