Like our cars, the VQ's are extremely easy to wire up. On most newer cars the harness' are all very simple, one piece, then connect to either an interior plug or an engine bay plug for the supplied powers.
There are many writeups online about wiring these motors up.
As for management your best bet is to use the factory ecu and a plug in tuner such as osiris and uprev again depending on the year of the ecu. Or go aftermarket such as pro efi or something along those lines.
Either way, simple wiring. If you have an aftermarket ecu i dont think you will need a tach adapter, but pretty sure if you use the factory ecu you do need to wire in an adapter for the tach signal.
