Its more about whole swap price than engine price itselfs. It would be great for P11. Just awesome daily/fun car.

i know the motors are somewhat cheap in CA, but im hoping prices on everything else drop down. Im 17 right now, so i dont make a ton of money..YET.

How about the tranny and ecu? + Whatever the remaining mods are? The VQ is very tempting right now but a built VE VET is still right in the same neighborhood as far as pricing goes.

thats what i was thinking. I want to go turbo right now but i might just wait it off for a few more months . but in the future, i might just want that n/a v6 growl!(at least for now)

What about a VQ30DE. I figure its gotta be cheaper to buy than the VQ35. There were tons of Maximas sold with the VQ30.

What about a VG30? Plenty of them too. May be easier to make fit to.

VQ owns VG. VG is just as big if not a bigger and heavier than the VQ.

Also a VQ35 can be had for pretty cheap. They are everywhere.
