Yes I have Eric's car here and thats the car that trapped 108.8 first pass. Eric is a good guy but cannot compare to me in driving for SURE. When I sold him the car I had to teach him how to drive stadered when I got to York Penn. If that says anything!

Are you the one in the vid? I always liked watching all you/his racing vids. Either man I'm not trying to battle with you , just saying how its has been for me.

This kind of seems silly to me if a VQ35 cannot break 350 wheel hp, I know a friend of mine who made 307 HP out of a 2.4 VE. Personally I think there is still a bit more power to extract from 2.4 liters. I also think we will see a 2.4 liter VE break into the 10's eventually.

That's cool your car the silver one made me want to get a spec-v but I wasted so much money doing the swap and was not satisfied. I drive pretty good ran a 8.67 with my old vvl with slicks. And I'm just going back to my roots lol good luck with the mount kit for b13/b14 also stay tuned performance were reall good doing vq swap and very reliable people. And I know your are to Jim..

Yea I will make them and if people want them , great if not then O well! I have had over 25 sr20 cars so I'm kind of out of them now. From 170 N/A whp to 500 whp it was all fun but its somthing about the VQ that I love.

We are ALL on the same team here!

How much are your mount kit is going to be? And wiring... Would u be able to make the b13/b14 run on a stock vq ecu?

Yes It will be off a stock maxima ECU and a working OBD2 port. As far as the mounts I have no idea. I'm going to try to make them reasonable as I can. Also I will be making solid mounts. I have 2 se-r's to VQ swap so we shall see in the end.

I dont see why I could not do and VQ swap said and done at my shop for a B13 around 6k with bolt on's.

I charge around 5k to do a B15 Spec.

Glad to see we're back on track. This thread was supposed to be for those interested in a VQ swap kit.
Not sure why it got turned into a VQ vs VE discussion.

Like they say "there's no replacement for displacement"

Very True! I will have somthing done by the end of this year a possibly on the market. I still do not have a b14 or a P10 yet so there will only be a kit for b13's, Spec-V's and P11's.
