I'm not holding my breath on this one. I've been wanting a VQ35 for 5 years, ever since this came out.

Possible VQ- B13/B14 swap kits... - SR20 Forum

Some one who lives close enough to Travis in Louisiana would have to step up and pay for the prototype. Ask Travis about the cost on that now.

Until that happens it's no closer than it was 5 years ago.

I will be offering this kit very soon. I'm the show owner and complete builder of the 2002 VQ35 Turbo swap. A lot has changed with it in the past couple months with not enough time to tune with all the work at the shop.

If you want a b13 VQ35 swap hold your horse's cause I have 2 B13's being dropped in any day now "missing a trans a flywheel" and another having 1k in parts missing cause he lost his job. I really need a P10 donor car to complete that swap as I have not had any interest in it at all "yet". Here is a picture of the New G20 look as of 2 weeks ago.

The car is being dyno'ed very soon with real numbers.

Those swaps are just crazy. VQ35 turbo is intense. If I had a VQ in my sentra, I would probably build the nuts out of it and make it all motor high rev. Hell, if the VQ37 stuff could be used for better power delivery it would be crazy. But the amount of torque in that chassis would be too much all at once. I would tone it down on the bottom to let her scream on the top end like crazy!

8000rpm VQ motor making 350whp would be pretty awesome if you could do it.

Honestly with my person experience and the money you are going to spend In doing the vq35de swap, u can go 90mm sr20ve and be faster. U are going to spend 4500+ trYing to put the motor in a b13/b14 going with a standalone with no major bolt ons.

If you want to build a vq to make 350whp, that is easy to do. There is plenty of aftermarket out there. do a set of rods and 12.5 to 1 compression pistons, Some jwt cams, maybe and intake manifold and a good set of headers and tune and you will easily hit 350whp.

Lol not the fwd vq35de 350whp!!!! A b15 sentra with a vq35de with boltons trap 103-105 Mph in the 1/4 mile.. The b13/b14 have the same after market support with the sr's
And mor guys know how to deal with them in in a sentra Chassis.

The fwd and rwd internals of the motor are still all the same. Im saying for someone that wants to build a 350whp vq35 it would be easy. Same parts i listed above. that will get you to that power level. Hell if your gonna put pistons in it, might as well do a little overbore on the motor too. Not hard to do. And plenty of piston sizes out there for the motor.

as much as i love the vq id much rather have it rwd. wich i do in my g.

but i do like seeing more options for our cars, so good luck with producing a quality kit !! our community has wanted one for a long time.
