Didn't know you were on the dash Arron I'm on maxima forums also ....There is a guy over on Nico forums that used the a32 crossmember and redrilled it to work on the b13...that with the mazworks 6speed mounts and all you would have to do is figure out the pass mount I'd love a vq30de with a gt30 it should fly

Tim looks as if he has just about finished this swap in a b13 already..... Not sure what amount of custom stuff he has done or if it is driving yet but you can see what he has done so far in this thread. http://www.sr20-forum.com/members-rides/45416-afstegg-vol-2-a.html

Yeah, I've seen you around the Maxima forums.

And I've read up on that car as well. Pretty cool! As far as the crossmember, what I did on my 92 Maxima was measure the distance between the radiator support beam to the area where my exhaust is near the firewall. I found that the A32 crossmember was perfect for my 92 Maxima. The A33 was too long I believe. So I made some brackets with 2 studs sticking out and just welded them to the car. Now the A32 crossmember bolts up just like stock.

I'm sure the B13 is a lot smaller, so a modified crossmember may be needed. I've also seen the B13 VQ35 from PR. I'm not sure what his setup is with the crossmember and mounts though.

But I'd love to swap in a built 2009+ Maxima VQ35DE. I bet I can easily squeeze out over 350whp all motor.

I'm still working on it , but it runs and drives. I'd like to get a better exhaust on it and get it tuned. It's just a stock 100k mile used engine with intake and cheap eBay headers going threw 2.25 exhaust and stock se-r muffler.

Vq swaps on a SR20 forum, who knew? I'm seeing another vq car in my future... wondering which of these cars is the lightest before drilling holes and deleting stuff. Nice info on the hubs btw Thanks!

The B13 Sentra E is the lightest Sentra that I know of. That's what I'd like to build a VQ35 drag car out of since it already has manual steering and windows.
