Thread: Do platnium plugs required gap or not?

Out of the box.. it is at .030 yike!

i dont think there is anything personally amongst the members against iridium, its just the piece of mind of changing the things every year. it takes like 5 minutes to swap all 4. a new recently set spark plug will always have the best efficiency rather than an old one.

I've broke a tip on 1 before but once you break a tip you'll learn how to gap it correctly. Yes you DO need to gap it. I don't know why everyone else is telling you not to......

I change my copper tips every 10k miles.
