Do you really think that they won't show gains???
The intake on the sr16 is the same as sr20 and it shows gains there with a lower cr than the sr16. It is a larger cam, as long as he does a decent header that will let it breathe, it will make more power. Also I would suggest getting a tuneable ecu.

SR16VE cams and SR16VE N1 cams arent very different. I saw dyno of both cams in SR16VE, it made no significiant gains.. definaly not worth.

I wouldn't bother changing cams, you are not going to see a big hp gain if any in midrange on a 1.6.

I dare him to dyno with 16 cams, then install 20 cams and post results

Take car and add the following:
SR20de 2lt crank
SR20de rods

You will have a high compression, firecracker of a N/A car.
