From the sounds of it, the two styles require two different headers to be proper and conform to the quality that I'd want to offer.

So, to update at this point, I'm waiting for a unit to jig from the O.P. I'll update when that's received and the jig construction begins.

This is looking like it will be a very quality piece. I am dynoing in a hour to set my AFR and get some numbers with the SSAC 2.5" collector to get some base numbers to compare RC000Es 4-1 header to.I think that this product will turn out to be a very good buy for anyone looking to make some all motor power. I will keep everyone posted on numbers.

The header is on its way to you RC! should arrive in a few days.

I don't remember having notched holes on my Gen6 when I put it on my VE. The ports were fairly large though and you could tell that they overlapped the and created a step.

Ok I found a pic of when I took my primary down to New Orleans with me to level the flange on Big John's belt sander. You can see it pretty well here:

So since we have some good header knowledge here, what is the purpose of stepped diameters?

Trade-offs?

Well, I just jumped on here to tell Matt that I got my new shop....3500 sq ft with an option to buy an additional 3000 sq ft building next to it.

Glad to hear the jig unit it on the way Rob, I'll let you know when I receive it.

Shigspeed...header theory is about as complex and fun as cam science. While I love having a spirited, long winded convo about it, I don't have time right at the moment. I'll post later tonight or tomorrow.

Is this going to be a top-end star? Big power at 7000+ is nice, but I live between 2 and 6k.

I'm definately interested, but without a price I can't give my word on anything. I have to admit I'm a cheap guy. I've spent alot on the car over time for sure, but never much at once. I just can't afford to.

anti reversion/venturi/suction sort of effect. keeps exhaust gas from flowing back into the motor

why don't you people just get the sr20turbofreak header? it's already made, ready to ship through greg vogle as far as i know, and the R&D was extensive to make it the best sr20 header out there.

I thought that the run was all spoken for? I didn't think he was making any more?
