I would hate to imagine what cruising in 5th with this gearbox and boost would be like.

it also depends on what size rims with tires u got installed in your car, i can go pass 60 mph in my reg de transmission til 61-62mph with 15" rotas but with a short transmission n the right amount of power u would definitely go pass 100kph in second gear.

I'm running 195/55/r15's and can get to 100kph but it is close to the rev limiter of 7500. This box is low ratio compared to the other de fwd boxes that we get in our jdm cars over here.

yeah same here, i rev to 7500 n would reach 100kph exactly in second gear with my regular de transmission

whats the final drive on a sr18?

some of us cant go to 8500 rpms. let my clarify my question then. can a de achieve more significant mph by having shorter gears compare to regular de tranny? or are you stuck shifting 3 gears to reach 60 mph @ 7500 rpms on sr16 tranny?
