yeah if I remember correctly it got way off track early on when some know-it-all decided to school me on how compression worked and was way wrong...

Yah, that's what I get for trying to remember shit I've read. I've learned to just do my own calculations and mostly avoid giving out wrong info like that now.
Mostly... =/

again, the goal isnt to reach any level of HP "quicker" or "easier"... i want a lopey idle SR with a lot of top end power - naturally aspirated. i want no part of a VQ in my SE-R...

my forum name goes back to 2000 when i had both a Maxima and a 3.5L Pathfinder in my garage.

Ok can we get a current parts list of what you have already for this build? This thread seems on going at this point. What parts do you have and what is next ont he list to purchase? Let's get a timeline going. (If you already have this info in this thread, what is the post #?)

EDIT: http://www.sr20-forum.com/534101-post60.html <------ Post #60. Good luck on the build.

I like to think that if I am wrong, I'm not that hard to teach and/or I will continue and learn on my own and eventually get to the correct place. I'm not afraid to backtrack and admit ignorance.

Jagy that intake manifold looks pretty nice what is the price point. VQman I like that you are keeping it DE. The DE's get no love but are still pretty great motors.
