Thread: mafs for ve.....

so what would be best or what mafs do most of you VE guys use??..

is there one that will bolt up to my jwt popcharger? and i know ill need new chips,not a problem...

i found a local 300zx tt maf..i think thats a z32 ? ?? for a deal...jsu want to confirm i can use my pop charger...

I don't think you¡ll be able to run the SR20 pop charger, the bolt pattern is way different

Well my opinion:

1. Z32 MAF too big for N/A, good for turbo only.

2. You can fit it in your pop charger, just carefully drill new holes for the different bolt pattern. Z32, E60 and N60 have the same bolt pattern.

3. Good MAF for the VE is the N60, cuz its cheap, but its also old from the 89-94 Maxima. The E60 is Maxima 95-99, so its newer and makes the same job. The VE MAF could be even newer but no experience with that honestly.

DOn't use a maf

Use the VE or E60 MAF.

VE MAF is my favorite, but its not very common and cheap as others.

I got an e60, works just fine. I had both when I went to calum and he said he prefers working with the e60 over the n60 for whatever reason.
