Im still a skeptic as to the exact figures, regardless of using the same rolling road, Dave why dont you have you figures from your last RR run in your sig?

Because it has very little bearing on my gains from stock till now as ive been there only once for a power run. also its a lower than previous figure too lol

most *if not all folks keep their 1/4 mile pb as their sig, not' their last run of the last track visit regardless of the location

Do you realise how difficult it would be to attain that kind of torque figure?

What I think you fail to understand is that in order to achieve top end power, 99.9% of the time, you must sacrifice low and mid range torque.

To achieve that high a torque figure on an N/A SR20DE is just crazy!

If it isn't reading correctly at that RPM, what is there to say that it isn't reading incorrectly at other RPM points.

Get it to the strip and then we'll see if the figures add up or not.

Cheers

Dave

P.S. Don't want to cause a fight, just trying to find a solution to all the bickering!

Like I said before ignore the low end because it is how the dyno loads up creating false numbers. I've seen comparison numbers from the one stateside that I know is like this and top end matched up.

It is calculating tq and hp assuming there is a full load when there is not, so it is artificially raised.

i 100% hear what you sayin ol pal, you fail to understand that my car has x7speakers, A/C full electrics, PAS, x4 airbags the lot. its a daily driver, my one and only car and i dont do major stripping. thus joe *for example will alway have a quicker 1/4mile than me. this is the least of my worries as i never set out to build a time attack motor

looks like near as makes no difference 180lb-ft to me

This car has a additional 14 hp + 14 nm gain mapped. Without the remap I would proberly have like 183 hp. Pretty normal figures for a n/a RR DE. Fact is with a JWT you won 't gain this much, also JWT explains most gains will be had with 15-17 ignition timing while I easily can advance to 19.

As David told:

1 st visit 161,1 bhp - 180 nm

header
test pipe
3 inch exhaust
k & n intake

2 nd visit175,2 bhp 202nm

map 14 bhp + 14 nm

3 rd visit 197,2 bhp - 232 nm

nismo fpr 3,5
advance 19
flywheel spec
apexi air intake
tomei poncam 0-0
apexi ws2

I don 't care about the 1/4 miles. I 'll keep my interior and listen to my sound system. Using the airco when it 's hot. This car is most used in stop and go traffic. If the car needs to perform it will believe me!

I think the magnacor leads may be hurting your midrange. Not a lot of people run them stateside. That much I know.

Why advance base timing by moving the distributor when your are remapping?

They only adjusted the fuel injection. It 's a simple thing with good gains. The distributor is marked, so easy moving for me. No big deal.

So why they didnt play with ignition too? Its more accurate (in whole rpm range) than moving distributor and changing basic ingition..
