engine swap for 02 g20?
Looking to do an engine swap on this car. What swap will be the easiest? I know this car differs from the 99 model so there are not as many options. Any help is appreciated

I would say to leave that motor swap thing alone and do some boltons.

JWT S3R cams
JWT Pop Charger
SSAC header
G Spec Pullys
2.5 inch mandrel bent exhaust
JWT aluminum Flywheel

I guess you have not played around with a 00-02 G20.

true. i do know the ecu and wiring is different and you have to use a P10 OBD2 ecu and rewire a couple of pins. I guess it depends on how much help he's got, how deep his wallets are, or how handy he is.....or a combination of the 3. lol.

for a 2002 you have to use a 99 p11 harness to use a p10 ecu. there are i believe 2-3 plugs that arent used or switched around. dont quote me on that. then you can get a VE in there and be all good.

if you want to know more hit up KRIST on this forum, he has a ve'ed 02 sport g20.

A step down harness will work also correct?

He is using a piggyback and fabbing something up to run the 00-02 IACV with the VE.
