Well half of 15 would be 7.5k and I would think making 270-280 w over 7k isn't too hard to do. 320hp is like 270-280whp

But it would just b cool to have one of these. I'm surprised with the shortened stroke they still made peak power at 8k.

Someone should buy this thing and slap a VE head on it.... (yeah yeah I know it won't bolt up cause of the reverse head)

Thing is, for $10k you ge tthe management system, dry sump, roller barrel throttles etc etc. Buyng this for parts is not a horrible idea.

Peak power was at 8400rpm.

IIRC bore was 88mm? How did they manage to shorten the stroke?

I can see how the power could be had for less money if thats the sole aim, but there's something special about period race engines, which is what you are paying for.

Price wise seems about right considering a Sodemo F7R from a BTCC Renault Laguna of the same period recently sold for about the same amount over here.

Half of $10.5 k is $5500 w the current price so I don't think so if that what viprude is referring to.

Read a little bit more closely and you will see or read some more of this, hopefully you made it this far, and find out.

The ad has the price listed in Great British Pounds (GBP) and from Indonesia.

$10,500.00 GBP convert to ~$16,615.20 USD.

This conversion is current as of this post and rate of 1 British pound sterling = 1.5824 US dollars

So, yeah, you would able to make a fucking beast for half of $16,615.

Yeah there is very little of that motor left that is original sr20 motor. The block is probably about it. Everything else on it is changed.
