There is nothing DE about this motor. You should be GTIR DET, as the block is GTIR and I am sure the base head is GTIR solid lifter.

Yeah there is very little of that motor left that is original sr20 motor. The block is probably about it. Everything else on it is changed.

the early ones without the revearse head were. thought they made the rules strickter so it had to be the actuall original chassis block and head, but i may be wrong

And the engine sits stupidly low and far back - nothing your standard Kframe would accept!


However they are a short stroke, big bore engine - so they make fantasmic power- yet still struggled compared to the rest of the field in its day


for 15-16k USD, im sure i could build a 2ltr to make this power, without reversing the head.
