You hold down your gas, clutch it in, rev's go up to rev limiter while your putting in to next gear then you pop the clutch. It's just like launching, of course your going to get a better time popping the clutch BUT this will cause HORRIBLE wear and tear on axles and your clutch..

Explain wear and tear on the axles?

The way to do this is like they do with the Chevy Cobalt. Set up the clutch and gas so that there is a MSD 2-step on the ignition. If you have the throttle at full pedal and you dip the clutch it hits a rev limiter set at 4800RPM, that way it won't "free rev" and damage the clutch and the rev limiter will bringing the engine back toward the RPM that will be right when you let out the clutch.

Or you could just shift like a normal person and dont grind into gears and practice the timing of actually letting the clutch out so you transfer the most power efficiently instead of spinning and you will run better times.

Guys you dont need to "power shift" with these tranny's. Set the clutch cable up so that the clutch is fully engaged when you let the clutch pedal out. But also set it up so that you just have to tap the clutch pedal for it to disengage. This probably only works with a puck or on off type clutch. But with mine setup like this all I have to do is literaly tap the clutch pedal and push the short shifter into the next gear and Im done.

A short shifter and an on off type clutch work wonders for these cars especially when adjusted properly.

I just blew third gear to pieces two days ago with only 250whp, and we are honestly having a debate about power shifting with our glass transmissions? The first time I destroyed third gear was with a lowly t25 setup (this being the second) Power shift all you want to save a couple fractions of a second, but you better have another transmission laying around.
