Flat Shifting SR20?
Has anyone here practice to flat shift their n/a SR20 motor. Well not sure that's the term used but I mean shift without taking your foot of the gas pedal.

What are the pros and cons of this practice?

I think it can shave 0.3 or so off my 1320 time.

Peace

thats what here in PR we call "cambios pata abajo" (floor down gas pedal) o "chistiao"...lol but thats always the way i do with my n/a VE and works believe me specially between 2nd to 3rd gear. Just be really careful specially with stock transmissions like the b13 one. i once damaged the 2nd gear syncro not so bad it healed by itself but was using this technique.

I usually just let up halfway on the pedal. Not quite as hard on the clutch and trans. I run a turbo, and this way I keep the turbo still spooled a bit.
