genral engine swap
Hey i was wondering i have a ga16de 5spd fwd b13 4 door chassis and i was wondering if anyone knew anything i can do for a sr20de engine. ive been looking at the bluebird engines and red top black top, im not sure which one to go with for an impressive 450+ hp car, I want to build a car i can take on long gumball rallys, cannonball run, bullrun type races.

Sigh....It is going to take A LOT more then just a motor in a ga swap to have a reliable 450 hp car. You need to do a bit more reading and clean up your grammar. If you write smart and appear intelligent you will get intelligent answers.

Get a 240sx, 450whp is useless in the Sentras. On top of that, putting truly wide rubber(>225mm) will be hard with the stock body. Also the transmission is a weakness in the fwd Nissans. The RS5F70V has been used to put down high horsepower. However, nobody has really gone out and road raced that transmission with high hp levels. It is an unknown.

My best suggestion would be to abandon the Sentra platform for your needs. Go get yourself a 240sx and build that. IF you have some $$$$ and just want a track car and you want to keep it Nissan then go get a used R32 Skyline Gt-R. The aftermarket for the Skyline is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY bigger.

450whp na would be amazing but the truth is alot of guys even turbo have some issues going into 450whp if the right parta arent there in their build to achieve the numbers

a relieable 450whp is going to take a bit of money
