Sounds terrific. I don't *think* that is any louder than OEM-stock. It sure won't attract any attention from LEO's or stoplight-racers.

BTW, I looked at that Stromugg (whatever) price tag, $628.00, and about fell over. Plus it is only 2.25", which would choke a VE.

wish i had speakers at work...

Also, on the turbo version the tip is ricer-enlarged to 4 inches. I gotta paint this thing flat black now. I bought the WS2 *because* of the advice that it's so quiet here on the boards, but receiving the muffler and seeing how big it is, plus vids on youtube..idk, starting to think that may be one of the great myths of the SR20 boards.

We'll see how it sounds after I get it installed. Good thing I have 2 resonators.

Yeah this is my car it is way too loud for daily driving I wouldn't recommend this exhaust for n/a ill post another video of it once I turbo it this summer.

- I have a 6" round resonator to keep my car quite. If I drive normal, it's not that bad. The ASP header I installed over the SSAC made it a little louder, but it's ok until I go for a spirt run lol.

Im sure having a catalytic would quiet it down some I don't have one I only use it to pass inspection and then I put my test pipe on. I also have a magnaflow resonator I don't remember the length but I ordered it from vrs the exhaust definitely isn't raspy with it but its still loud. Cops haven't given me any trouble for it yet though and its been like this for a year, it only gets loud past 3000 rpm so for city driving as long as you shift before then it shouldn't get you attention.

Oh and subaru exhausts are very quiet my car had an spt exhaust (I think they were an option from the dealer) in the trunk when I bought it and my friend put it on his integra and its very quiet.

I've used the STi muffler before, on other cars, like the civics and the 2.5RSs that are running around here. They're great, but, sometimes hard to find.

I've managed to hold on to an original Greddy SP. Although at ~60mm (iirc) it is kinda restrictive, good LORD, it sounds beautiful. You can hear intake (long highport HS, by the way) more than you can hear the exhaust inside the car. Love it.

What about the HKS Sport cat-back? Always wanted to try it. Think it MSRP's for ~$450, and is also ~60mm.

This is what I want to do. Find an oval shaped resonator that I can replace the cat or the cat "tunnel" (if you will) with.
