That does sound good. What's your pipe diameter? It's 2 1/4 or less no doubt.

it's 3" with a 3" Perforated Magnaflow Resonator (36" Total Length; 6" Width) and a Megan M-OE Turbo Muffler

perhaps the quietest set up so far-just run your car open header/dp for a week then slap on your c/b..quiest indeed

The Megan isn't bad for the price, but you need to leave the cat installed and I say swap the muffler out with a larger oval unit. That way you can sell the knock off muffler and make some money back. The piping and flanges and so on is worth the cash. I paid about $145 shipped for the knock off 2.5" exhaust. Not bad for all stainless piping (you pay more for a piping kit from VRS). But like I said, if you don't want it loud, swap out the muffler for something else.

I have gone the route of removable silencer many times, and the silencer will make it more quiet than any other aftermarket solution.

It sounds like a$$ with the silencer in (at WOT), but in the cabin it is very very quiet.

STI Muffler, quietest not too restrictive OEM muffler that I've ever seen. I freaking love mine

Didn't you hook this ridiculous resonator on a piece of pavement and bust it up? You hadn't even lowered the car iirc. I don't want to bust your chops too much but there are very real drawbacks when running this piece.

I also thought the silencer comes in handy. I know a member has the OEM looks with the silencer, I've asked and he indicated it was quite.
