I asked Greg specifically about that, and he said it was just the muffler..

I think i would rather have an STi muffler if I can find one.. seriously, how much should I expect to pay for one? should I just go to a subaru dealer??? or what about going to a Saab dealer and getting the Saab version? LoL

Here's what it says on his website:

Fully 2.25" Stainless steel and mandrel bent, the Stromung Exhaust replaces the stock system from the catback and retains all factory mounting points. Can be easily installed in an hour using basic hand tools. Features polished stainless steel muffler and tip.

He must not have this one in stock any longer because I have not heard of a muffler that is mandrel bent, and it says "features" which indicates to me that there is more there than the muffler.
You can't get the muffler from a Saaburu. The Saab 9-2x was only a copy of the WRX, which didn't have the muffler you're looking for. I would imagine that the muffler from a Suby place would be quite expensive. I paid $50 for mine used.

Nope, that's a WRX muffler. This is the one you're looking for (the complete axle-back as it came off the STI):

Notice how on the tip it says STI on it. I took the tip off for more stealth. Here's more pics of that muffler and how it looks:

This muffler and a few resonators will kill the sound really good.

That is awesome documentation sir. Thanks!

Sounds terrific. I don't *think* that is any louder than OEM-stock. It sure won't attract any attention from LEO's or stoplight-racers.

BTW, I looked at that Stromugg (whatever) price tag, $628.00, and about fell over. Plus it is only 2.25", which would choke a VE.
