Common misconception. It just has a higher resistance to knocking; it doesn't burn cleaner, or give you more power. People say left and right about how it does, but the science of fuel doesn't lie.

^^ This makes sense. If you're knocking or pinging, hell yeah kick it up to 91 or 93. If you don't ping on 87, you're just throwing money away putting anything higher in.
