C2 cams, but I'm really just going off what JWT told me. I have no first hand experience.

yeah they have vtech

so i am not talking about low end power now but, can/will this 200whp DE build make more usable torque than a 200whp VE

Ben, I get that your saying that my power band wont be very usable with C3s and if I tune for a more usuable efficient power band then I will undoing the benefit and features of the cam?

please bear in mind that i am trying to make 200whp from a DE and that I need proper A/C

also the head will be worked, the CR wil be about 11.3:1 and the bore will be 92mm with sleeves and the car will be daily driven.

^Get the JWT CM6 cams a call it a day! It seems like you are trying to talk yourself into getting a cassette player over a cd player right now. VE is the future and I know you said you plan on getting a VE later and that you are doing this with a DE to prove a point. So get the CM6 cams and run that DE till it BUST!

Absolutely not.

Correct.

I mentioned them on the phone with JWT. They said they were developed specifically for some racing series (that limited how good the cam could be) and have specs they wouldn't normally recommend. They seemed to give the impression that unless you needed them for this one racing league, they were not a good idea. They said the C2 cams would be a much better idea if you wanted something with those specs. They gave me the impression that they weren't something to consider as a mid-way point between the C2 and C3 cams.

C6M is not an option. remember it will still be my daily. i have a G20/Primera but my wife mostly drives that. the motor cannot be built to function on race gas only.

- I think you will be fine with the C2's bruh. I'm running BC2's and I'll be getting a set of CS cam gears on my DE build. It's on a stock bottom end and stock head work. Since I'm N/A, I didn't think it was worth the coins to get the head worked for my goals with this motor. The gains would be minimum.

Nope. Not unless something is seriously wrong with the VE.
